Meridiani was founded in 1996 by Renato Crosti, supplier of seat padding for luxury design brands. Thanks to his wife, he gets in contact with Andrea Parisio, designer and until today still Art Director at Meridiani. It was Renato Crosti and Andrea Parisio who came up with the idea to set up Meridiani together.

Meridiani has stood for seating comfort and aesthetics from the very beginning. The brand immediately made itself noticed on the international market with its refined design and an incredibly extensive range of textured seat fabrics. In just a few years, Meridiani has become synonymous with quality and timeless elegance.

Today, Meridiani is exported to more than 50 countries. The international growth was the reason that Meridiani was included in the listed design group Dexelance since 2016.
